The lesson uses the stories of famous athletes to explore various factors, including Billie Jean King, Tom Daley, and Kelly Holmes. This acts as an introduction to factors that impact performance in the National 4/5 PE course. The athlete biographies contained in the resource may also be useful for younger year groups who are learning about diverse athletes.
