Teachers

Teachers have a key role to play in addressing prejudice and bullying at school.

We provide free professional learning, resources, and support to help teachers meet national expectations for LGBT Inclusive Education, and to equip them to counter the effects of online hate and disinformation while teaching core critical and digital media literacy skills.

Upon reflection, I have found the TIE modules extremely helpful and beneficial. They have raised my awareness of key issues around inclusion and equality, while also providing clear, practical guidance when any of these issues arise.

At a time when teachers are navigating complex and sometimes conflicting issues, the modules offer reassurance and a strong educational framework. They have helped build my confidence and given me clear language to approach sensitive topics in a thoughtful and professional way. I particularly valued how the modules balance policy, research and real classroom practice. Overall, TIE has been a valuable support in helping me reflect on my practice and better support both colleagues and young people.

Overall, we can’t speak highly enough of our experience of working with TIE. The quality of their resources, training and support has exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to working with them as we continue our inclusive education journey.
