Glasgow FrontRunners OUTrun Fundraiser

Glasgow FrontRunners OUTrun Fundraiser

Glasgow FrontRunners have once again chosen us as the beneficiary of their annual Rainbow Relay Run and OUTrun events, raising an incredible £4,443 to support our work.

Glasgow FrontRunners are “an award-winning, inclusive, community-based running club for LGBTQIA+ people and allies”.

OUTrun is a five mile race held in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park and attracts runners from across Scotland and the rest of the UK each year. The inclusive running club has supported us for several years, with funds raised helping us continue our work in schools across Scotland.

We are hugely grateful to Glasgow FrontRunners for once again choosing to support us through fundraising initiatives at OUTrun and the Rainbow Relay Run this year.

As a small charity, community fundraising like this allows us to remain responsive and adaptable as new forms of LGBT-related prejudice and bullying emerge in schools.

Donations enable us to continue being innovative in our work - for example, our new Digital Discourse Initiative, which helps educators address the effects of online hate and disinformation, was part-funded by contributions like these.

The generosity shown by Glasgow FrontRunners helps us to support schools to create environments where every young person is included and reflected in their learning.”
